In the story prior to the Frostbite update, he briefly interrogates Robin Goodall on the unusual biometrics recorded from her biosample that she sent up in the Exchanger Rocket. Maxim Plenty was a character serving as the Director of the 4546B Vesper Mission. Kn1ghTski65 was a character that sold a passenger shuttle to Robin. For progression reasons, the area was cut a month before release and replaced with Delta Island. As evidenced by the leftover biome ID, it was located near a cave in the Ice Sheet called the Rocket Cave. The Rocket Area Shelf was the pre-release location of the Exchanger Rocket. Before the area was removed a Shadow Leviathan and a few crystals could be found at the entrance to the area. The area was removed from the world as of build 32522 and the crystal wall has been replaced by a short tunnel leading to a dead end. It was then cut as the story no longer required that the player be kept from accessing the Architect Gate Base (formally known as the Architect Shield Base). In early access version 8 and 8.1 the entrance to the area was blocked off by a wall of crystals to stop the player from progressing further than the developers intended. The biome was one of the three original "Hover" biomes, the other two being the Glacial Basin ( hoverarea) and the Arctic Spires ( hoverzone2). It had no fauna and was connected to the Fabricator Caverns via a big deep hole.

Hoverzone 3 was an unfinished surface biome that served as the way back to the Architect Gate Base (which at the time was known as the Architect Shield Base) during the game's final act.

SUBNAUTICA BELOW ZERO MERCURY 2 SERIES
Subnautica: Below Zero is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Inserting the Test Override Module and activating Test Mode for the tower also unlocks an achievement for the game. Once crafted, players can use the Parallel Processing Unit to construct the Test Override Module and deactivate the Communications Tower. The item can be crafted in the Fabricator. Players will need to collect 1x Gold, 1x Silver Ore, and 1x Table Coral Sample. After scanning the final fragment, players will unlock the Parallel Processing Unit blueprints. Find the panel on the wall and cut through it with the Laser Cutter. Reach the thruster of the ship, and swim down the hallway until the hallway splits to the left and right. The last fragment is located in the Detached Thruster of the Mercury II. Inside, players will find the second fragment as well as another Oxygen Plant. Swim through the second hole leading to the Bridge. Use this to replenish oxygen levels if needed. In the same room, swim up through the hole in the ceiling.

To get the first Parallel Processing Unit fragment, swim down the right hallway and enter the Engine Room on the right. Swim inside the wreck and through the first door. Here, players will find two fragments in close proximity to one another. When reached, players should travel down the left side of the Mercury II until they come across an opening on the side of the wreck.

The good news is that all three fragments are found within the wreckage of the Mercury II spacecraft. However, the Parallel Processing Unit requires a trip down to the Mercury II wreckage.Īs with other equipment recipes, the blueprints for this unit can be unlocked by collecting Parallel Processing Unit Fragments. Most of the required items for the module are raw materials that can be easily collected or crafted. For this mission, a Test Override Module is needed in order to switch the tower into test mode. In Subnautica: Below Zero, after meeting Marguerit Maida, players will be given the task of disabling the Communications Tower on Delta Island.
